SXSW Roundup: Hip Hop Highlights

There was no shortage of hype around the lineup at this year's South by Southwest music festival - and it lived up to all the anticipation. It's hard to choose from all the major hip hop moments that happened on stage, but in case you couldn't attend, here are a few of the highlights:

Kendrick Lamar and his TDE family, including ScHoolboy Q and Isaiah Rashad, took over the iTunes Fest at ACL Live. They weren't the only ones, either - SZA and Jay Rock joined K.Dot on stage for some memorable cameos.

Ty Dolla $ign coming out to join YG at the Fader Fort was exciting enough, but things really turned up a notch when Snoop Dogg came out for "My Hitta."

50 Cent recently revealed the artwork for his upcoming album "Animal Ambition," but before that, he hosted a Hang W/ 50 showcase at SXSW along with Machine Gun Kelly and G-Unit's Kidd Kidd.

If we had to pick a high point, though, it was when rap power duo Kanye West and Jay Z dominated the stage together, performing classics like "Izzo" and "Jesus Walks" as well as new hits like "Tom Ford" and "Black Skinhead."

Jealous you missed it yet?
