Toronto Raptors may adopt Drake's OVO colors
It's no secret that Drake is a big Toronto Raptors fan. The rapper was born and raised in Canada, and is frequently seen rocking the team's gear - like in his recent Instagram with a Raptors snapback.
Now, the team is considering changing their colors to Drizzy's OVO scheme: black and gold. In the meantime, though, you can snag your own Raptors Knit Hat by New Era at JimmyJazz.com.
That's not the only re-branding effort the team is making. According to HipHopDX, the NBA has scheduled a "Drake Night" Jan. 11 for fans. At the event, Future the Prince will spin a special set and a limited edition OVO/Raptors T-shirt will be up for sale. There's still no word on whether Drake will show up, though.
In September, Drake announced a partnership with the team when he was named their global ambassador.
"There's something genuine about this city," said Drizzy, as quoted by HipHopDX. "There's something great. I think aside from that with All-Star coming here there's an untapped nightlife, restaurants, culture. There's so much to soak in and I think that our goal is in 2016 to truly showcase that, not only for the players, but also for everybody."
