"The Voice" gets shaken up
Singing competition show "The Voice" may only be in its third season, but the show is already shaking up its lineup. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the fourth season of the show will have some new faces on the judging table as Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera will be exiting.
However, fans of the show need not fear as mega celebrities Usher and Shakira will be taking over their spots. Blake Shelton and Adam Levine will keep their judging jobs on the hit show. Aguilera and Green are leaving for the fourth season due to other commitments - both are working on new albums and feel they wouldn't be able to fully commit to "The Voice" or their other projects doing both.
"Being a coach on 'The Voice' is a wonderful experience and the relationship amongst us all is like an extended family," Aguilera said in a statement. "I am so proud of being part of the show from the beginning, all the work we've done, and proud of what the show stands for as a whole. As I have expressed since day one of the show, that I am a singer and performer first and I am so excited to get back to that love."
Both coaches are expected to be back for the show's fifth season, so Usher and Shakira will only be onboard for a short time.
