What’s Black & White & Worn all over?
By Ashli Prescott
No need to hail a cab, the Jordan Retro 12 "Taxi" is already here. It will drop on Jimmyjazz.com and in select Jimmy jazz stores on December 14th. These kicks showcase a clean white body with a black wrapped mid sole. Jordan's famous number 23 can be found in red on back of the heel and signature jumpman on the padded tongue. There are gold lace-stays on top and the under sole dons a pixilated zig-zag taxi gold print for some secret flare. According to Kicksonfire.com, it features "stitching that mimics the rays of the rising sun." The retro 12 (in this original colorway) first kicked its way onto the scene during Michael Jordan's fifth championship season in 1996-97. The re-launch of this classic shoe is sure to end the year strong after a relatively hushed couple of months. Celebrities such as Orlando Magic guard, Gilbert Arenas, and DJ Boof (pictured here with rapper Fabolous) have been spotted wearing these highly coveted kicks.
There's no question that these are an essential addition to any sneaker collection. Secure your pair this Saturday!
