What's next for Pharrell?
There's no question that Pharrell has a powerful touch when it comes to producing, but he's been venturing into new territory as of late - namely journalism, fashion and film scoring. Between BBC Black, his new clothing line with Mark McNairy, and a hosting stint on the YouTube interview series ARTST TLK, he's taking on a range of new roles to test his limits.
So what else can we expect out of the hip hop tastemaker, as Billboard magazine called him? In an interview with the news outlet, Pharrell revealed that he'll be producing tracks for T.I., Usher, Nelly and Jennifer Hudson, just to name a few. Not only that, but he's involved in Beyonce's next album, which he claimed is going to be crazy.
He's also signed on to collaborate on the score for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," with legendary composer Hans Zimmer. It's worth mentioning that Incubus' Michael Einziger, The Smiths' Johnny Marr and the Eurythmics' Dave Stewart are joining him on the project. This isn't the first time Zimmer and Williams have teamed up, though - "Despicable Me" and "Man of Steel" also showcase the duo's combined talents.
Honestly, is there any realm Pharrell can't conquer?
