By Souleo w/assistance from Melissa Santaella. Nicki Minaj is known for her flamboyant and eccentric get-ups but once in a while you're liable to catch the rapper looking dare we say, quite common. But Nicki proves that looking common doesn't mean not looking sexy even in the dead of winter.

Nicki seems to operate by one rule: the tighter the better. So pair this long-sleeved grey sweater by Essentials:

with these Apple Bottoms jeggings featuring stud detailing along the pockets and contrast stitching:

We can't tell what's on Nicki's feet but if we had to suggest something it'd be these Essentials over-the-knee boots that gather for a scrunched effect:

And a waist length jacket is always a surefire way to stay sexy and warm in winter with this Essentials embossed faux leather ruffle jacket:

Oh and most importantly, don't forget to add an exaggerated silly expression to your face to complete the look.
By Souleo. It's got to be hard, tight, sexy and provocative. I'm talking about the style of Young Money Entertainment's, Shanell. After answering a few questions, Shanell returns to JimmyJazz.com to talk her style. While she is now known for her tight shorts, leggings and edgy accessories, Shanell notes that it took her time to find comfort with displaying her body since she never wanted to be seen solely as a sex object.

"I used to be into the big and baggy look. I dressed that way because I hated the attention that women would get when they dressed really feminine. Whatever you tried to do whiter it be music or dancing a man seemed to look past your talent and look at you as a piece of meat," she said.
Finally she has reached a place where she doesn't care about how others perceive her thanks to the confidence and support of her Young Money team (Lil' Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj and others).
"Now I'm with a bunch of people that respect me for what I do and I'm comfortable. I don't have to fight to get respected or the right kind of attention anymore. Young Money is like a bunch of brothers and they won't let the wrong person say something crazy.
So now on stage I don't mind wearing whatever I want."
To get Shanell's bold urban meets rock'n'roll style check out her top 3 tips:
It's got to be hard:
I must have some kind of hardware whether it be the necklace or bracelets. I always have my nose ring. I love hardware like something that doesn't look like it belongs where it is.
Let your shoes do the talking:
I'm not a fan of the plain pump. It has to have some kind of funkiness to it with spikes or chains on them. They must come to my ankle too. I like shoes that look like if I wore nothing else but a shoe it would be okay. I think I will start making shoes since it's hard to find a shoe that says what I want it to say.
Look good underneath your clothes:
I have to have matching bra and panty sets. I buy underwear like every other day and a bunch of little sets. Once I can't find one to go with the other I start to lose it. I like when I'm changing and it's like an outfit under the outfit. I've had hardware on there too but those break.

By Souleo. R&B singer The Dream creates a nightmare for himself with an apology letter to Christina Milian and rumors of cheating; the sports world loses one of it's greats with the passing of NY Yankees owner, George Steinbrenner; "Bottoms Up," the new single by Trey Songz ft. Nicki Minaj sets off the internet's gaydar; Wesley Snipes can't beat the system and is off to jail; and could we have another Vietnam on our hands? It's all here in this week's round-up. Get with it.
My, My What a Bad Dream
According to the clever commenter below The Dream's "apology" letter to Christina Milian might as well be signed by just about every male celebrity in Hollywood. With all the revelations of cheating and shady behavior I can't disagree much.
"Sincerely signed by Swizz Beats, D. Wade and the Dream...All three of these fathers who failed to work it out with their "not hot anymore" wives should start an outreach program for men on the come-up who subscribe to the more money more women necessary policy..oh, and Tiger can be the president and Diddy can be top recruiter setting up the secret meeting spots for the initial affair."

George Steinbrenner Enters Heaven, Well Almost
The commenter below wonderfully plays off of George's public reception as both a celebrated and at times controversial figure in this sweet and funny imagining of him trying to get into Heaven.

"(Bob Sheppard in Heaven) Ladies and Gentlemen may I get your attention please, now entering the Pearly Gates, owner of the New York Yankees, George Steinbrenner (St Peter) Not so fast Mr Sheppard we have to talk with George first but I'm sure he'll get in LOL."

The Bottom Line with Trey Songz
This commenter gets to the bottom (yes, pun intended) of Trey's new single that is raising eyebrows. While the interpretation may be a little uhm, extra it's still an entertaining perspective.

"The funny thing is that soon the negro is just going to make a song called "I'm Gay", and his fans will say "he just means that he's happy", lol. The man came out as a h*mosexual in the Drake video, "Best I Ever Had", along with that other h*mosexual "Fabolous". That video was a metaphor for how Drake was sexed into the industry, and Fabolous and Trey appeared because they were two of the ones that did it obviously. Then they follow that guest appearance up with "Say Ahh", which is obviously about fellatio between these "down low" clowns in the industry. Now "Bottoms Up". You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to see what the man is implying."

IRS Bites Deep into Wesley Snipes' Pockets
Aww, man they got Nino Brown and Blade. Okay, it's really just Wesley but with his iconic action roles you'd think he could beat the system with just one swift move or evil glare. Apparently not.

"The only vampires 'Blade' cant beat....the IRS."

Vietnam 2010?
With the public support of the U.S. war in Afghanistan decreasing the commenter below gets to the heart of the matter by noting how similar this situation is becoming to Vietnam. Let's not repeat history.

"People are correct when they point out that, unlike Vietnam, Afghanistan is not the subject of mass outrage because young men are not being drafted to fight. But if we do stand as one and say that we've had enough, our involvement in Afghanistan will end just as it did in Vietnam. We *have* to be angry and Washington has to know it--nothing less will do."

Weezy is getting ready to debut his first ever rock album, Rebirth. Although the rapper is best known for dropping 'hot' verses on hip-hop albums, like Tha Carter III and brilliant wordplay on his underground mixtapes, Lil Wayne is hitting a new lane with the Rebirth. The official single from the album is titled "On Fire" and is very reminiscent to the 1980's gangster flick, "Scarface". Lil Wayne also 'goes in' on the electric guitar.
Lil Wayne - "On Fire"
Directed by Chris Robinson
Hip Hop fans and Weezy stans may remember Lil Wayne's obsession with things that are fire from early in his career. A once baggy jean, less tatted-up and Timberland boot wearing Weezy hit the scene with his lead single "Fireman" from his Tha Carter II release. And who could ever forget Wayne's solo debut, Tha Block is Hot?
Lil Wayne - "Fireman"
The Rebirth is scheduled to be released later this year, but for now check out Lil Wayne's Young Money compilation, which features up-and-commers, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Gudda Gudda, Mack Maine, Tyga, and several others.
