Giant Magazine Goes Under

Giant Magazine, Radio One's bi-monthly publication of urban music and pop culture is no more.

The broadcast company officially announced that it would be closing its doors today on its magazine after its debut in 2007 and publishing a total of 33 issues.

The Giant brand will still be operable but under Radio One's ‘Interactive One' subsidiary online.  Radio One is also responsible for NewsOne.com, Hellobeautiful.com and Blackplanet.com.

Beyonce, T.I. and Prince have all been featured on the cover of the publication. Alicia Keys is featured on the magazine's final cover of the print edition, which lands on newsstands December 15th.

Damn! The internet really is destroying print publications....this is sad.
