Oscar winning actor and co-founder of water.org Matt Damon and fellow co-founder, Gary White have teamed up alongside music legend Rita Marley to support the new pop/rock/soul artist KAMEKO and his "Tired of Being Broke Musical Stimulus Gift Package" tour, which will kick off at Liberia's ATS stadium on March 19th, 2011.
"Water.org is excited to be KAMEKO's charity partner as part of the 'Tired of Being Broke' tour," said Gary White, Water.org Executive
Director and Co-Founder. "The tour is a wonderful opportunity to help raise people's spirits through the power of music, and at the same
time, to raise funds needed to help bring clean water to those in need around the world."
The tour will be sponsored by Carver Federal Savings Bank and Rolling Out Magazine signed on to be the tour's U.S. media sponsor.
During this tour KAMEKO will offer financial assistance to various charities such as The Mali Health Project and Habitat for Humanity through a portion of tour proceeds, product giveaways and coupons from sponsors for discounts on food, clothing and various necessities.
