HELLO KITTY

A cute and loveable cartoon character, Hello Kitty was invented and promoted by a Japanese company, Sanrio in 1974 and was introduced to the United States in 1976. Hello Kitty made her debut on a simple vinyl purse and quickly grew to include all types of accessories. 

Hello Kitty's circle of family and friends grew as well.  She has a sister, Mimi, friends Keroppi, Melody, Charmmy Kitty and more.  These characters continue to attract millions of fans around the world making the Hello Kitty line the most successful of all the Sanrio characters.
