Following an impeccable run of Air Jordan 1 releases in 2020, Jordan Brand is performing routine maintenance to ensure that their hype train rolls into the new year smoothly. This past November, the streetwear powerhouse announced its Spring 2021 lineup – which (unsurprisingly) includes a brand-new, electrifying colorway of Mike’s debut shoe.

The upcoming Air Jordan 1 “Volt Gold” features uppers done in bright-white leather, which also appear on the side panels, toeboxes, and ankle collars. Contrasting black-leather overlays envelop the sneaker’s mudguards, eyestays, and side Swooshes, giving it a “Black Toe”-esque appearance. Off-white-colored tongues serve to bridge the gap between the two tones – they are decorated with reversed tongue tabs, which come in a translucent “University Gold” hue.
Moving toward the back, you’ll come across leather heel counters bearing a familiar “University Gold” color and dynamic “Volt”-tinted ankle-collar flaps. Off-white rubber midsoles accent the tongues, and the sneaker is finished with black-rubber outsoles.
The Air Jordan 1 “Volt Gold” is set to drop January 9th on JimmyJazz.com for a retail price of $170 – don’t be late.
