St. Patty’s Day has already come and gone, but that hasn’t stopped Nike from pouring up an ice-cold Air Force 1 to commemorate the holiday – one that will make everybody at the pub green with envy.
The Air Force 1 Low “St. Patrick’s Day” arrives to the party dressed in a combination of white, “Pine Green,” and “Mean Green.” Side panels are done in smooth, white leather, while light, “Mean Green” accents appear on the toeboxes, side Swooshes, and sockliners. The bulk of the upper is covered in dark, “Pine Green” leather overlays, which adorn the mudguards, eyestays, tongues, and rear quarter panels.
In a nod to the Irish holiday, the rear quarters are stamped with lucky, four-leaf clovers, while lace deubrés and insole insignias are done in shiny, metallic gold. The upper is anchored by stark-white, rubber midsole units, and dark-green rubber outsoles.
The Nike Air Force 1 “Saint Patrick’s Day” is scheduled to drop April 10th on JimmyJazz.com for a retail price of $120.
